The Spanish Meteorological Agency (AEMET) aims at the development, implementation and delivery of state's weather services and at supporting the performance of other public policies and private activities, contributing to the safety of persons and property, and to the welfare and sustainable development of Spanish society. The Agency has the status of meteorological authority of the state, as well as aeronautical meteorological authority.
Through climate services, basic climate information and data are transformed into products and specific climatic applications useful for various sectors' users. This section provides general climatological information on means and extremes of weather data sets, climate monitoring products, seasonal forecasts and climate projections for the twenty-first century in Spain under different emission scenarios.
